The Rustic appeal of this rectangular baking dish is a result of coiling and glazing, and embellished with a kolam like motif. The Kolam is a pattern or motif, traditionally drawn in rice powder at the doorstop or courtyard in Indian homes. These patterns symbolise prosperity and are said to trap negative energy within them preventing them from entering the house.
