Conceptualised in France. Made in India.
Air de Provence is a compilation of small everyday objects that are made keeping easy maintenance and longevity in mind. Developed in-house with our team using weaver overstocks only, this mini-collection is an ode to the many summers our founders spent in the south of France - Dry land for miles, brilliant sunlight bouncing off medieval sandstone houses, the sea at a distance, and the smell of grass mixed with wheat and the sweetness of lavender, Air de Provence embodies the essence of provincial life, where things move slow and imperfections are a marker of a life well-
A curated
way of life.

Slow, lived-in, intimate and timeless - these are the principles by which we choose to envision the world that surrounds us.
Tula creates objects for a discerning way of life. We believe that the quotidian is filled with beauty and that mundane objects of the everyday can be made special with care and attention to detail.
We produce hand-made goods for the home in small batches with artisans from all over India. Each object is uniquely crafted, with an emphasis on timeless aesthetics and lasting functionality.

Natural Fibres
At Tula, we prefer to use materials sourced from nature whenever possible and the bounty of natural fibres and reeds available in India has provided us with infinite resources. We have products made of fibres ranging from banana fibre, to cane, dalapati, shitalpati, jute, water hyacinth and bamboo.
The indigenous communities of our country have long used these natural materials for objects of daily living because they recognised the merit in biodegradable and renewable resources. We work with craftspeople who employ such traditional basketry techniques to make lasting everyday objects that have a low environmental impact.
